How do I start using SLYNUMBER?

To get started with SLYNUMBER, download the mobile app from the App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. If you already purchased a subscription online, simply log in to your account. If not, follow the sign-up steps in the app: create an account, choose your subscription plan, and pick your number. Once you’ve completed the setup, your new number will be ready to use right away.

How do I reset my password?

If you forgot your password, select “Forgot password” on the login screen and we’ll send you a reset link.Or email us at support@slynumber.com for help.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Can I choose my area code?

Yes. SLYNUMBER offers all area codes in the US, so you can keep your phone number private and get a local number that suits you. Purchase your second mobile number, online, today!

Can I have more than one number?

No. SLYNUMBER offers one number per user; multiple numbers are not permitted.

Where is SLYNUMBER available?

The SLYNUMBER app can be downloaded in over 150 countries worldwide. It is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, making it accessible to users across a broad range of regions. Simply search for “SLYNUMBER” in your app store to check availability in your country.

What sets SLYNUMBER apart from other second number apps

Is SLYNUMBER a paid app?

Yes, SLYNUMBER is a paid app. Upon sign up you will have to select a subscription plan (monthly or annual). In addition to the subscription, there is an add-on purchase of credits. Credits are used for outbound calling/messaging and cellular data.

Do I need to purchase additional credits?

Your subscription includes unlimited inbound text messaging and phone calls, as well as a 100 outbound credits. You may need to increase your outbound messaging credits depending on your usage or if you're adding our eSIM feature to your account and need credits for data. Note: 1 credit= 1-minute phone call, 1 text message, or 1 picture message. Data rates can be found here.

Are international calls and credits more expensive?

International rates apply when making calls or sending messages internationally, so be sure to check your credit balance. Credit used per call or message will vary by destination, you can check those rates from within the app.

How do I add eSIM to my account?

From your home screen, simply tap on 'cellular data' and follow the setup steps. Once an eSIM has been added to your account, you can proceed with the installation and activation process. For more information, read our activation guide.

Can my device use eSIM?

Your device must support eSIM technology to use an eSIM. You can check this in your phone’s settings (look for “Add eSIM” or “Cellular Plans”), on the manufacturer’s website, or by contacting SLYNUMBER support. Most recent iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and Google Pixel models are compatible.

How do I install eSIM on my iPhone?

Do I need to switch eSIM as I enter a new country?

Short answer: No! SLYNUMBER’s eSIM is a global eSIM that automatically detects when you enter a new country. If you’re traveling to multiple countries, just make sure your wallet has enough credits to cover the roaming rates in each destination.

What if I have left over data credits?

SLYNUMBER uses a pay-as-you-go system, so you only buy the credits you need. Any leftover credits are saved in your account and can be used later for data, calls, or messages, and they never expire.

What if I run out of data credits?

If your credits run out, your data will stop until you purchase more and have enough balance to cover the data rate in your current country. To make things easier, we also offer an automatic top-up option, which adds enough credits for 1 GB of data as soon as your balance gets low.

What is a mobile number?

A real mobile number is issued by a mobile network operator and connects directly to the cellular network. Unlike virtual or VoIP numbers, it can be used for calls, texts, and data on any mobile device with network coverage.

What is a VoIP number?

A VoIP number is a phone number that works over the internet instead of a traditional phone line. You can make and receive calls or texts using Wi-Fi or cellular data.

What are SLYNUMBER credits?

Credits are an add-on purchase you can make within the app. They can be used for outbound calls and messages, as well as cellular data.

What is an eSIM?

An eSIM, or “Embedded SIM,” is built directly into your device, so unlike a traditional SIM card, it can’t be removed.

What's the difference between eSIM and SIM?

A SIM card connects your device to a mobile network and must be swapped when you change providers. An eSIM does the same job, but it’s built into your device and works digitally, no physical card needed. It can’t be lost or damaged and can easily connect to different networks for flexible, affordable data.

What is cellular data?

Cellular data is what lets your phone access the internet when you’re not connected to Wi-Fi. It uses your mobile network to browse, stream, and use apps on the go.
